Thika United Football Club - I Know Mbugua Can Says Coach Juma picture

By Jimmie Kairu

Coach Juma Abdalla believes that Simon Mbugua will make a better come back if he get another opportunity because he has learnt of the great hustle of the Kenyan Premier League.

The former Langata High school captain was among the impressive players who were selected from the National ball games and coach Juma decided togive him the opportunity of being in the first eleven.

The young star débuted in his first game over the weekend against Sher Keraturi and was played as a central midfielder a position that seemed challenging to him because when he joined the club he was playing offensive midfielder.

Mbugua went through thick and thin and for sure the position he was playing was not an easy task because it needs an experienced and a hardcore player to be deployed in that role, though assistant coach Haji Bilali insists that the young star will adapt quickly to the role he is playing and the position strengthened him.

“When Mbugua was in the pitch playing hard ball with the experienced Sher Keraturi side he endured the first half and I was particularly shocked when he managed all that’, said coach Juma.

The coach added by stating that he is sure of Simon and that he just needs a little bit of assistance .
