The game against Thika United and Red berets was rained off while the two teams were eagerly awaiting to take up each other in the second half over the weekend.

The Berets had already changed the keeper as the first keeper was unable to handle the pressure a move that made Hadji Mwachoki shoot on goal and yielded an equalizer for the visitors.

Though berets were awarded a questionable penalty that made home fans angry at the referee saying that he was killing the game, they were also amazed by the level of play that was displayed by the phenomenon Kepha Aswani who’s shot from the half line was punched away by the keeper.

Abdalla Abdalla displayed excellence in performance as he got the opportunity of displaying technical skills but missed to capitalize on the three free kicks that were able to display his ability to shoot.

On the other hand coach Juma felt bad as the showers came down heavily and the referee blew his whistle to pause the time and come back after the rains had cleared.

The rains continued for half an hour throughout and spread into the dais as fans were also rained on heavily, more to that the center referee called up the captains to test the grounds and they were ready to go in and play but minutes later the red berets camp decided to call it a day and drive off.

“I was shocked to see the home team drive away but we were not going to repeat a mistake that we made last season while we played Sony FC at Awendo,” said coach Juma

‘We were forced to repeat our game against Sony and it was not all that pleasing. We were subjected to pin ourselves to the wall and we are not going to repeat the same mistake”, He added.

The coach concluded that the team is ready to take on any game at the moment and can survive playing the Red berets game anytime.
